CANADIAN STATISTICS

Here are some interesting Canadian statistics I've gathered over the years, eh.

85% of Canadians admitted to having "tried" marajuana.

On average there are 20,000 persons presently in correctional facilities in Canada.

The average number of murders in Canada is steadily dropping. The average has been 500, nation wide. Only a small percentage are firearms-related. If you're a Canadian, your chances of getting murdered by someone you know are the highest in the world.

Canadians commute, on average, about 6 kilometers a day.

83% of Canadians admit they don't know all the words tot he Canadian National Anthem.

Debit cards and cash transactions average 50/50.

Most Canadians usually don't have over $25.00 in cash on them at any given time.

81% of Canadians admit to "acts of aggression" while driving.

350,00 Canadians contract Chicken Pox annually.

7 out of 10 teenage deaths in Canada is caused by a preventable accident.

Do you know of an interesting (and verifiable) Canadian statistic? Drop me a line, eh.
