Honestly, at one time I thought they were a bit too expensive, until I was given one by Dawn Mills (of W.A.R.P.I.G.) and used it for about a year. As far as I am concerned they're worth every penny at twice the price. Safety is very important in paintball. Good goggles says you're concerned about your well-being. A good barrel plug says you're concerned for the well-being of other players. After spending thousands of dollars on markers, paint and all the equipment -- you can obviously spend the money on a good and reliable barrel plug.
It's the only barrel plug I use.
I'm willing to bet it's the only barrel plug with a warrenty, too.
