Gas Efficiency
The term used to descibe how well the marker uses the propellant gas. Some markers are less gas efficient that others due to their action.

Gas Through Grip
This is a grip which usually fits on a verytical ASA (in front of the trigger gurad) and provides a gripping surface (in lieu of a fore grip -- q.v.). THey are used when an expansion chamber or regulator is not installed in the vertical ASA.

Gas Through Stock
This is a stock designed to screw into a back bottle or bottom Line ASA. It has a coupling on it that allows a remote hose to be connected to it, this providing the systems with a pressurized power source. The gas through stock is usually found on a marker that has a remote system setup as the stock takes the place of the tank, which was originally used as the shoulder stock. A gas through stock allows the player to screw a stock into the ASA and not have to worry about how they are going to connect their remote, which is usually connected directly into the ASA, to the system.

Gear Bag
A large cargo bag for paintball gear. Many are especially made for paintball's unique cargo carrying needs.

Goggle Fan
A small, battery operated fan unit that attaches to the top of the goggle frame to help prevent fogging by continually cycling air behind the goggle lens.

Goggles
The part of a goggle system that had the lenses, fames and head strap. Also the generic term for a goggle system.

Note lack of face, temple and ear protection.

Goggle System
The complete package, goggles, mask, forehead, temple and ear protection. Some goggle systems have a "flap" at the bottom of the face mask to provide rudimentary throat protection. Most goggles are sold as complete systems.

Grips
This is the actual gripping surface of the marker. It may be a one piece unit, or it could be a pair of panels (one on each side) mounted to the grip frame by screws. This is not to be confused with a pistol grip.
