THE REVIEWS

Durty Dan's Reliable Reviews are not your "normal" reviews. Most product reviews of the "get-it-for-a-day-and-send-it-back" variety. Not mine. I test the product for a few months. Also, I own the gear that you'll see reviewed. I've either purchased it or I've made a deal with the manufacturer to keep it after the testing.

The reviews will be posted on this page after they have been published by either Action Pursuit Games magazine or Paintball Magazine (depending on which one has the space for that month).

Due to the fact that magazines are unwilling to publish "negative reviews" those product which get bad reviews will be posted on this site. I like to maintain the integrity of all of my reviews and this is the best method I've come up with.

IF YOU'D LIKE YOU PRODUCT REVIEWED

If you manufacturer a product and you'd like it reviewed, let me know. There are a few things you should know before contacting me:

  1. I don't review semis. I only review stockguns and pumps.

  2. I prefer to review equipment, rather than markers.

  3. As I perform testing over a period of months, the product you send me may not be fit for resale. Here's the deal. You send me a product and I keep it.
    If you think this is an expensive proposition, let's consider a one page advertisement, in four colours, in Action Pursuit Games. For a one page, one time advertisement in full colour, you would pay $2,485.00. Consider that the review will occupy at least two to three pages and you'd pay up to $7,455.00, for the same coverage! All you have to do is give up one of your products, considerably less that seven big ones, isn't it?

  4. If the product fails testing (i.e. it's a piece of crap) the review will not be published, but it will be posted on this site.

  5. All of my reviews will have the URL of this site, so your review will be here forever and even if the readers missed the article in the magazine, it will be here for them to read.
YOU HAVE TWO CHOICES FOR PUBLICATION:

1. You can wait for the review to be published (several months!)

2. You can tell me to publish it directly to my page. (A press release will be sent to ALL the paintball publications brining consumers to this website and your product's review.)

All of the articles in the website Durty Dan's Paintball Information Services are free to use for webpages, school projects, reference and to promote paintball to players and the non-playing public. Credit for the source of the information should be included in the bibliography or references page.
