Through his notes he’s leafing,
to do the morning briefing,
to tell all the folks about the game.
He makes it entertaining,
even though it might be raining.
I often wonder why he’s still sane.
He’s takin’ care of safety,
Every way!
Takin’ care of newbies,
Every day!
Reffin’ all the tournies,
it’s all fine!
Reffin’ like a mad man,
and working over time!
He’s always havin’ fun,
in the rain or in the sun.
He’s always out for every game day.
He wants you to have fun,
but safety’s number one,
and he tells you that he likes it that way.
If you cheat in his tourney,
you’ll end up on a gurney
his morals, he will never yield.
Cheatin’ ways you’ll avoid,
or he’ll get real annoyed,
and kick your sorry butt off of the field.
He’s takin’ care of safety,

With professional flair,
his calls are always fair,
listen to what he has to say.
His attitude is regal,
he has eyes just like and eagle,
he can spot a hit a hundred feet away.
He’s the best that he can be,
come and play, and you will see,
He really earns his pay.
It is no mere whim,
when folks look up to him,
I wanna be just like him some day.
